    What is Dance/Movement Therapy?

DMT is a psychotherapeutic framework that works with the mind-body connection to use personal movement language and dance for the health and wellness of an individual’s physical, emotional, cognitive, social and behavioural aspects (CMTAI,2019). DMT has demonstrated empirical evidence of its effectiveness in reducing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and a range of other mental health and psychosocial conditions worldwide
